Description
This medicine reduces symptoms such as numbness/pain/cold sense in the limbs caused by poor circulation of the blood.
It also improves walking ability by reducing pain/numbness in the legs which is caused by pressured blood vessels and nerves due to narrowing lower-back spinal canal.
It is usually used to improve ischemic symptoms such as ulcer, algia and cold sense caused by thromboangiitis obliterans, as well as subjective symptoms (pain/numbness in the lower limbs) and walking ability which are accompanied by acquired lumber spinal canal stenosis (patients who prove normal in straight-leg raising [SLR] test and shows bilateral intermittent claudication).

Effect/Efficacy

Usage/Dosage
For the treatment of thromboangiitis obliterans: In general, for adults, take 2 tablets (10 mcg of limaprost) at a time, 3 times a day. Strictly follow the instructions of your doctor/pharmacist.
For the treatment of acquired lumber spinal canal stenosis: In general, for adults, take 1 tablet (5 mcg of limaprost) at a time, 3 times a day. Strictly follow the instructions of your doctor/pharmacist.
Take the missed dose as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed dose and continue your regular dosing schedule. DO NOT take double doses to make up for the missed dose.
If you took too much of the medicine (more than instructed), check with your doctor/pharmacist.
Do not stop taking the medicine without the instructions of your doctor.
Cautions
If you ever experienced any allergic reaction (itch, rash etc.) to any medicine.
If you are pregnant, breastfeeding or possibly pregnant.
If you are taking any other medicinal products. (Some medicines may interact to enhance or diminish medicinal effects. Beware of over-the-counter medicines and dietary supplements as well as other prescription medicines.)
Contraindication
Common side effects are reported as below. If any of them occurs, check with your doctor/pharmacist: diarrhea, nausea/vomiting, stomach/abdominal discomfort, loss of appetite, stomachache, numbness of tongue, headache/top-heavy feeling, drowsiness, insomnia, tachycardia, hypotension, elevation of blood pressure, glow, rash, itch, hives, reddening which develops on sun-exposed areas, bleeding, anemia, etc.
The symptoms described below are rarely seen as initial symptoms of the adverse reactions indicated in brackets. If any of these symptoms occur, stop taking this medicine and see your doctor immediately.
generalized fatigability, loss of appetite, yellowness in the skin and the conjunctiva [liver dysfunction, jaundice]
