Effect/Efficacy
This medicine is steroid preparation for external use, suppresses skin inflammation to improve symptoms such as redness, swelling and itching.
It is usually used to treat eczema, dermatitis, psoriasis, etc.
Usage/Dosage
General dosage regimen: Apply an appropriate amount of the medicine to the affected area, once to several times a day. Strictly follow the instructions of your doctor/pharmacist.
Avoid using tight-fitting diapers or plastic pants on a child if the medicine is being used on the child’s diaper area.
Do not apply the medicine to your eyes or eyelids. Be very careful to avoid getting it in your eyes. If you accidentally get some in your eyes, flush them with water. (Consult an ophthalmologist if anything still seems unusual)
When you realize that you missed, apply it soon. However, if it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed dose and continue your regular dosing schedule. DO NOT apply double doses to make up for the missed dose.
If you used too much of the medicine (more than ordered), check with your doctor/pharmacist.
Do not stop using the medicine without the instructions of your doctor.
Have regular checkups if you use the medicine for a long term.
Cautions
If you ever experienced any allergic reaction (itch, rash etc.) to any medicine.
If you are a patient with abnormality in tympanic membrane, skin infections due to bacterial/fungi, ulcer, burn/frostbite.
If you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
If you are taking any other medicinal products. (Some medicines may interact to enhance or diminish medicinal effects. Beware of over-the-counter medicines and dietary supplements as well as other prescription medicines.)
Do not use the medicine as a makeup base/after shave, etc.
Contraindication
Common side effects are reported as below. If any of them occurs, check with your doctor/pharmacist: folliculitis/furuncle, stimulating feeling, acneiform eruption, skin atrophy, tinea, dry skin, itchiness, etc.
The symptoms described below are rarely seen as initial symptoms of the adverse reactions indicated in brackets. If any of these symptoms occur, stop taking this medicine and see your doctor immediately.
see a ring around bright light, severe pain in the eyes, sensitive to light, foggy vision, headache [ocular hypertension, glaucoma, cataract]
